Qara is, at a glance, unremarkable for someone of viera heritage. Despite appearing perfectly average, they carry themself well, bearing in their toned frame years of experience living alone in the brutal wilds, fending for themself against natural terrors and Garlean forces. Their steps bear a slight bounce, which may be attributed to the way they're always balanced atop the balls of their feet. When they speak, it is softly but with conviction.Their clothes are not especially impressive and don't speak much about their social status -- not that Qara cares too much. They dress in whatever is comfortable, clean, and most practical to any given situation. Any time and efforts given to primping themself could never completely wipe away the faint scent of machine grease and industrial smoke, however. Partially gloved hands also show calluses and other markings which speak to their experience as a machinist.

Shaaloani. Qara was raised in the far west, later adopting the surname Djt-Wehn to better assimilate with eastern viera. Their youth was spent in the rugged Shaaloani plains, where they showed remarkable mechanical aptitude at a young age.Garlemald. They bear fresh memories of their years spent serving Garlemald; first as an assistant in a ceruleum processing facility, then as an unwilling subject in an experimental "health research" program. While serving as an aan, Qara greatly expanded their familiarity with firearms and moving machinery.Sea. After their harrowing escape from Garlean service, Qara fled across Ilsabard without any real idea of where they wished to go. Their aimless desperation eventually landed them aboard the Enduring Deeds, a merchant ship under Captain Styrdraga Rhetikympfsyn. The Sea Wolf was impressed enough by Qara's discipline and knowledge, and he agreed to shelter Qara aboard his ship in exchange for their services. Qara has since outfitted the ship with a ceruleum tank to power its cannons; though convincing Styr to convert the Enduring Deeds into an airship has proven to be much more difficult.Companions. Qara's constant companion is a brown rabbit toy that's seen much better days. The stuffed toy only has one button-eye left clinging to its face, and a green ascot barely keeps its head upright. The false bunny was named "Lucky" by its previous owner, but Qara can't quite decide what to call it now.Not that Qara is without sentient companionship. They are almost always following beside (or behind) the very gruff Exploding Goldfish, whom they consider to be their favorite person for all eternity.Feet. Qara sometimes appears taller than they actually are, and this is because they are used to walking on the balls of their disproportionately long feet. This seems to come naturally to the viera. They can break into a sprint in the blink of an eye -- or simply reach taller shelves without asking for assistance.Tail. Yes, Qara does have a tuft of fur for a tail. It is primarily black, like their ears and hair, with a white patch underneath.
